Star Wars day. Many fliers and guests attended to enjoy our Star Wars themed launch event. Some great Star Wars rockets entered the competition, which was judged against flipght performance, craftsmanship and entertainment value. Dave Bishop won the prize for best rocket with his Wookie. Later he offered the RSO a chad-stage Wookie; not an everyday occurrence! Catering was by the Battens who made some very tasty chocolate rocket biscuits. Mike, Tom and Phil went to International Rocketry Week at Largs in Scotland. Rockets were launched, whisky was drunk, and money was spent with the vendors.
